Our Meal Program

Storybook Schoolhouse is a local Chico business. We have been working with children for over 50 years and we strongly believe in supporting our Chico community! We order fresh fruit and vegetables EVERY SINGLE WEEK from S & S Produce and Natural Foods. We make sure all of the children here are served a balanced breakfast, lunch, and snack, all free of charge with tuition. We believe in local, fresh produce and filling our children’s tummies with plenty of food that is good for both the body and mind! If your child has special dietary needs we make sure our staff follow your dietary plan exactly the way you require. Each Friday we make homemade pizza for lunch and homemade bread for the children to take home. This is a special Storybook Schoolhouse tradition that we have followed for over 50 YEARS that both the staff and the children enjoy!
